The perfect solution for an existing deck, or a cost effective solution for a new deck: Retrofit to the bottom of the joists of an existing deck, this deck drain system is quickly installed and presents a clean finished look. As with all our under deck systems, the Contemporary system is installed by Colorado Deck Drain Expert technicians, is made of 24 gauge Galvalume steel, is fully vented, and suspended from the bottom of the joists for strength and stability. The deck system has a baked on enamel finish and is available in a variety of colors. Deck measurements are taken and calculations are made to determine panel slops, gutter and downspout placement, fall and height considerations. Then, hangers and rails are attached to the joints from the bottom, and then the corrugated panels are installed. Lastly, the gutters are snugly fitted to catch all runoff from the panels and sloped to deliver drainage and minimize debris retention.

HOW THE UNDER DECK DRAINAGE SYSTEM WORKS
Our Contemporary Under Deck Drainage System is constructed of galvalume standing seam panels. Each panel is attached and supported below the joist of the deck with hangers and are not dependent upon support from the gutters. The panels have a slight corrugation, adding to the panels’ strength while allowing ventilation, enhancing airflow above and below the system to expedite drying time.
